Shweta Dabholkar is a Project and Policy Officer at CPSP. She is currently working on a research project that evaluates the impact of ‘Zero Budget Natural Farming(ZBNF)’ policy on consumption of pesticides in Andhra Pradesh, India. She is also involved in the research work on acute pesticide poisoning related to child rights violations due to pesticide exposure. Prior to CPSP, she has worked as a Research Associate at JPAL South Asia. The randomized control evaluation at JPAL studied the impact of messaging services on the behavioural outcome of elderly diabetic population living in the slums of Mumbai. Shweta holds a Masters in Anthropology and Development from the London School Of Economics and Political Science. She also has the experience of working on historical documentary series and TV shows for prominent media houses like BBC Worldwide. She is interested in research and policy work in the field of public health and sustainable agriculture.
