Gael is an experienced social development practitioner and researcher. With her extensive experience in Nepal she has developed policy understanding and influence to interconnect community, national and international contexts. Advocacy for social justice has been a lifelong commitment this includes – health workers rights, social inclusion, good governance and mental health rights. Over the years Gael has initiated a range of mental health actions in Nepal, including the setting up of an NGO, to promote a social approach to mental health. She supports and enjoys multidisciplinary work so is well placed to contribute to pesticide suicide prevention.
