Researcher
Ayanthi Karunarathne is a research fellow at the Queen’s Medical Research Institute, University of Edinburgh. She is engaged in making global estimates on pesticide poisoning deaths and preventable pesticide poisoning deaths in LMICs. With her background in International public health and Health Management, she is working on establishing collaborations with various research groups and organisations in Africa who are engaged in pesticide poisoning/ suicide related research.
